Specialty Diamond makes a metal-cutting blade that is as good as any of the name brands...and costs about $3 per. At about $1, these blades are not in that league. The steel of the body is soft and bendable, and in my Milwaukee, the tangs tended to break off and jam the screw so that it could not be removed...until I solved this problem with a washer.But the cutting edge is sharp and fairly durable. I use these for everything but metal, but I especially like them for cutting into plaster. Plaster will destroy any blade, and it doesn't destroy these much more quickly than it destroys a $12 blade. If I burn up 10 of these, as opposed to 8 Bosch or Fein blades, it costs me $10 instead of $100. Try the metal-cutting blades too.
